I’m back to training in the early morning (Monday to Friday) at the river front in New Farm park.
It feels great to be back in the spot I’ve already put countless hours in my practice. At this time of year, it is well and truly still dark when I start at 6 am. Seeing the first glow on the horizon as I look out over the river is magical. Watching the increasing light and the increasing number of other early-morning people in the park is delightful.
It was cool and clear this morning with just a splash of pink on the wisps of cloud as the sun broke over the buildings across the river. Earlier in the week it was uncharacteristically foggy in the city and being closed in gave the training a particularly serious feeling.
