Happy Dragon Martial Arts teaches traditional Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan karate do.
Karate classes for ages 6 to 60 are a great way to learn self-defence, get in shape, develop stamina and experience an interesting culture.
Beginners classes are starting now and people of all skill-levels are welcome.
Happy Dragon Martial Arts emphasises safety and respect in all aspects of the training. Junior ranks are not required to participate in kumite (fighting), but if they are interested they may start once they have their own protective gear and have developed a level of control that will ensure the safety of everyone.
Additionally, classes include real-world self-defence skills; including mental and physical preparation.
Karate training is a terrific way to learn self-control, confidence, coordination, concentration and discipline – all while having fun and challenging yourself.
